Millions of gun safety advocates rallied at more than 80o different official locations worldwide in support of gun violence victims from Parkland and elsewhere this weekend. Several hundred supporters attended a rally at Rose Tree Park in Media, while an estimated 15,000 supporters marched in Philadelphia. Members of Indivisible Swarthmore: Moving the Needle attended these rallies and others in a show of solidarity.
Please help sustain the momentum these courageous student leaders have started by getting involved in a local or national organization seeking to minimize gun-related violence. CeaseFire PA and Delco United for Sensible Gun Policy are two local organizations that have spoken to MTN about their mission and ways in which you can get involved. Nationally, organizations such as the Brady Campaign, Moms Demand Action, and Giffords are all seeking to raise awareness to sensible gun legislation.
