Art Rocks for Nature Is a Success

After nearly a month of collecting and painting rocks by many volunteers, the Art Rocks for Nature fundraiser benefiting the Chester Ridley Crum Watershed Association (CRC) can be considered a success. The event hosted last night by the Arts and Activism committee at the Swarthmore Community Center raised more than $500 from individual donors that was then doubled with a matching gift. Attendees mingled with neighbors and fellow activists with wine in hand and hors d’oeuvres nearby. Representatives from the CRC, A Few Steps, and the Sierra Club of Pennsylvania informed those gathered of environmentally-friendly actions they could undertake to benefit their community. Please join us in thanking Quincy Campbell and the rest of the Arts and Activism committee for their vision and hard work in making this a wonderful evening.
